Our vision is to see people born again, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and serving.
Our mission is to help each person at The Gathering Church to believe in Jesus, belong to family, become a follower of Christ, and build God's Kingdom.
We Believe...
the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error in the original manuscripts and is our guide to daily living.​​
the One Living and True God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and that He died on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day.
Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that He empowers us for daily living.
people are created by God in His image, but we have separated ourselves from God and need His saving grace.
salvation is a gift of God's grace and we receive this gift of eternal life when we trust Jesus Christ as our savior from sin.
the church is the body of Christ and that God has called believers to gather together in local church families.
Jesus Christ will come again and reign eternally.
in water baptism by immersion. Water Baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Baptism is a public declaration of acceptance of Jesus as Savior.
the Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to do the work of the ministry with the manifestation of the nine gifts of the Spirit as God wills.
that divine healing of the sick is provided through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.
in receiving communion to remember Jesus' sacrifice for us and remind us of the new covenant. The elements are symbols of Christ's broken body and shed blood.
